THE PRESSURE CALIBRATION PROCESS
Zhejiang Guojian Testing Technology Co., Ltd (CCT) uses computerized pressure modules that can measure pressures from vacuum to 40,000 PSI to perform accurate pressure calibration services. To ensure precision, the appropriate pressure module is selected based on the measurement range of the instrument being calibrated. Prior to calibration, the instrument is exercised to its full capacity three times.
During the pressure calibration process, the instrument being calibrated is compared to a standard with a known value or capacity. Most instruments undergo a 5-point pressure calibration, which involves inspections at every 20% of capacity. For higher accuracy pressure transducers or pressure gauge calibration, 10 inspection points are carried out at every 10% of capacity.
