The evaluation of metal materials subjected to high temperatures and tension is an important consideration for many industries. Elevated Temperature Tensile Testing is a reliable process used to assess the behavior of metals exposed to high heat and tension. Many industries, including those utilizing high-performance steel and nickel alloys in jet engines and power generation gas turbines, rely on high temperature tensile testing services to ensure the safety and efficiency of their products.
Zhejiang Guojian Testing Technology Co., Ltd (CCT) , located in China, stands out among commercial testing labs with its exceptional capabilities and accreditations. Our elevated temperature tensile testing service is Nadcap and CNAS ISO/IEC 17025 accredited, and conforms to ASTM E21 specifications, which define the parameters for testing tensile strength, yield strength, elongation, and reduction of area of metallic materials at elevated temperatures.
We utilize a state-of-the-art tensile tester with two high-temperature furnaces, enabling us to test metal specimens within the temperature range of 100 to 1100℃. To enhance the accuracy and reliability of the test results, we employ an extensometer that can measure elongation and provide precise strain readings. Additionally, our test system is capable of testing various types of specimens, including sheet and tubing, and accommodates a wide range of specimen sizes.
Our mechanical testing laboratory provides comprehensive services to evaluate the mechanical properties of metallic materials, including but not limited to, strength, hardness, ductility, impact resistance, fracture toughness, elongation, and stress.
For quick turnaround time, we have an in-house machine shop with highly trained CNC machinists and equipment operators who are available to prepare specimens for all types of mechanical testing. Our machining services are accredited and performed in accordance with industry specifications. Additionally, we offer custom specimen machining for customers who require special-order specimens for their in-house testing.

Zhejiang Guojian Testing Technology Co., Ltd (CCT) 's elevated temperature tensile testing process begins by placing the specimen inside a furnace that can heat up to 1100℃. Once the furnace has reached the desired temperature, the specimen is soaked to ensure that it has reached a uniform temperature throughout. The specimen is then loaded into the test frame, where an extensometer accurately measures the strain on the specimen as the load is increased. All the data, including the stress/strain curve, are recorded by our fully computerized system, and a Certified Test Report is generated to summarize the results of the test.
